The food was super oily. The chef spilled food *everywhere* including my water glass. He spilled a ton of water on my young daughter (he asked her how old she was and she said 5) which soaked the clothes she was wearing. Bad food and bad service.

This place was pretty good. Went with a couple friends for drinks and Sushi. Def not bad but I wasn't blown away by any of the food. Service was very fast which was nice and I did like the atmosphere! I did have a good time and a nice meal but nothing that would make me pick this over some of my preferred sushi spots. I also live in Bloomfield so this was a 30 minute trek through NOWHERESVILLE. 3 out of 5 - Scooby Baby

Excellent Sushi and great service. There are Hibatchi tables in the back which are great for Birthday parties. Intimate bar area provides a nice area where you can grab a drink while you wait for your table and socialize. They offer specials on the weekdays so you can save some money if you come in during the week. Enjoy.

Not A Good Spot For People Who Like The Simpler Food . Maybe There Sushi Is Good & All Idk, But The Teriyaki Hibachi Chicken Dinner I Ordered Was Horrible .

Had a good experience in this place with my son. The food was served quickly and the customer service is just awesome. Prices are affordable.

The sushi is the best in the area, and the weeknight sushi roll discounts are a great bargain. The other Japanese dishes are always solid, and the sake and Japanese beer lineup is well-rounded. The hibachi is big on entertainment value and a crowd-pleaser for groups who gather to celebrate family events, but the food there is a bit more pedestrian.

Hibachi, table service, sushi bar are all equally excellent.

Even in this time of the pandemic, Yume still offers curb side pickup of their full menu. We picked up our four meals and were very happy with them.

Yume was yummy! We enjoyed a delicious meal for hibachi. The filet mignon was very tender. The chef put on a fun show. It's a great place to bring the family for dinner. Will definitely be coming back again...

Get the hibachi, the sushi is ok, but smelled too fishy, which is something fresh fish never should smell like

1/2 hr wait to be seated, 1/2 hr to order drinks, 1 hour for food to arrive. I made the mistake of ordering hibachi filet Mignon and lobster tail. The steak was good and the lobster over cooked, both were covered in an over abundance of sauce. I should have noticed that the hibachi area was empty. The locals that were with me all ordered Sushi and were happy with their well presented orders at a very reasonable price. Recommend ordering Sushi not Hibachi and allowing lots of time.

There's no place you can get better quality for the price. And 30% off dine-in Sun thru Thurs isn't a bad deal!

Everything our family has eaten here has been delicious, from the meals to the appetizers to the saki, tea, sushi rolls and soups. They offer 30% off the choices from a special sushi roll menu every week from Sunday through Thursday evenings. Free parking with wheel chair ramps up to the restaurant level from the paring lot. Also, a dedicated bar area with TVs, hibachi section and sushi bar where you can watch the sushi chefs.

Have been here a few times and generally it's wonderful, but today they seemed to just drop the ball in a bunch of ways. They directed us to a regular table instead of asking if we wanted hibachi, and then placed us at the end of a group of teens. Understandable since it was only 2 of us, but then they didn't bring drinks until much later, the chef seemed uninterested and forgot the sauces, didn't do the Sake/pretend Sake, and everyone working seemed very flustered. Perhaps they were overwhelmed because there was a bunch of kids who presumably just graduated, but the restaurant also wasn't particularly full. In addition, we witnessed another similar group who received what looked to be the typically experience with playful banter and a good show and service. Anyways, they're generally quite good but this trip left us very disappointed.

The hibachi chef was a mess (might have been drunk). He sprayed me with sake instead of in my mouth and sprayed my daughter with water soaking her clothes to the point where she cried. The chef spilled food all over the place, and soaked the food in oil. The only reason I come here is because my parents love the value, but the food is not good compared to real hibachi places, and the service is terrible. The soup, salad dressing, and hibachi sauces are all watered down and don't taste great. To end the night, we got a free ice cream dish for my birthday which was so bad that no one ate including my daughter. Find a better hibachi place.

Tried to eat lunch there for the first time just now. Sat down and before any server greeted us some guy came over and ripped the menus directly out of our hands! Whispered under his breath that they don’t do that menu on fridays and walks away. No apologies. No care. Sad because I was referred to this restaurant and was excited to try the food, but I have never had anyone be so abruptly rude. As we were walking out we told the hostess that the other guy was expressly rude to which she relied “ok thank you”. Great way to earn and keep new business. Sad...we love suhi and could of been great repeat customers.

We have been going to this restaurant for 3 years. Normally they are excellent. Over the past two months we have ordered "Covid-19" takeout from here and we are far from impressed. My husband and I even made a joke the first time about how maybe management had to cut costs and cook it themselves. We ordered it for a second time tonight. My chicken teriyaki was all onions and one single uncooked piece of broccoli. It was dry and unflavoured. The sushi was rice only and not impressive. I would advise ordering from here when things fully open and go somewhere else in the meantime.

Pretty good. Hibachi is nice. Would recommend. The Hibachi chefs here put on a real nice show and the food is really quite good. The sushi here is really good as well. Staff and service is pretty decent and wait times on food are quite good.

We had the Hibachi Sword Fish and the Tuna Steak. Both were cooked well and tasted good. The Hibachi Sword Fish was really good.The wait staff were adequate but not exceptional. They did get more friendly over the course of our meal. The atmosphere was busy and somewhat loud when we arrived around 7:30 but got less noisy as the rush died down. The restaurant is close so I'll definitely come back.

Been to Yume dozen times, my son and his friends like the Hibachi show. I'm not a fan. Over salted food. They jip you for take out.We did take out a couple if times. Dont recommend a bit. For $24 you get an ounce of friend rice in the smallest soup container and a small container of the noodles meat and veggie. Soup was just water. Just horrible. I will not go back.

I dine in this great spot a lot! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I visit this spot routinely. The food is of high quality, the crew is professional and the prices are decent. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a good dinner.

Ugh...been here several times and don’t know why I return. Service is bad. Really bad. Sushi is ok but nothing special, and I’ve had most of the rolls at this pt. Last time I was there (1/9/19) it took 40mins just to order drinks. Granted a party of 7, but c’mon! 95% of time staff are unpleasant, hurried, and don’t pay attention. Not a lot of sushi places in area, but I’d pick Mikado or Liki over Yumi any day. I’m officially done-not going back.
